Status: Final draft editing

We first meet Callous doing what he does best: crushing evil-doers with his own unique style.  The Mall of Idle is stormed by a group of terrorists, taking its patrons hostage in exchange for a large sum of money.  However, the Soldier of Darkness, assisted by his sidekick Shadow, manage to turn the lights out (both figuratively and literally) on the gun-toting troublemakers.

In his "normal" life, Callous, as Hunter Cameron, wants nothing more than to win the heart of his dream girl Tammy Corona, but her current boyfriend, a 6'5", 200 pound biker named Lazarini Richards, towers over his chances.  However, Hunter and Tammy do manage to remain good friends, and we find out that Tammy herself has similar feelings for The Callous One.  Oddly enough, she is prevented from expressing her true feelings by her boyfriend as well.

Shadow, known to the rest of the world as Arnold Fox, has his own problems in the world of eighth grade junior high.  A highly successful student who manages to stand up to himself thanks to the dark tutelage of his mentor, he falls head over heels for the new student in school, Linda Champion.  Unfortunately for him, she's a stark contrast to himself: popular and a Light Spirit.  Can he convince himself to forget about her, or will he follow his heart?

The adoration of women and the envy of men, Jesse Lothario sets his sights on the one prize that seems to resist his charms: one Tammy Corona.  Seeing that Hunter Cameron and Lazarini Richards already appear to be in competition over her, he may call for assistance from his partner in crime, the deceiving vixen Serena Hershey.

Forbidden from entrance, Wolf Pack Woods seemed to have devoured the unlucky few who dared to enter.  Someone finally manages to figure out its secret, but what exactly lies at the heart of this fear-inducing forest?

The relationship between Tammy and Lazz has always been tumultuous, but why exactly do they stay together?  And what twists and turns will their union take in this story, especially when outside parties get involved?

The main conflict in the story comes in the form of The Blood Hunters, a group of seven Dark Spirits who take orders from their blood-thirsty leader Raizer, who claims to be a vampire.  A former school-mate of Callous is amongst them, which causes the Soldier of Darkness to cross paths with these bizarre outcasts.  After Callous loses some of his blood to Raizer from a nasty bite, he wages war against them all, and all he has for back-up is thirteen-year-old Shadow.  Can The E-Clipse be victorious against the mysterious Goth gang?
